The Trillion Dollar Club
A trillion dollars in market value is a rare threshold to cross. The VegaShares Trillions ETF, TRIL, is an actively managed fund built around the mega-cap globally listed businesses with a market capitalization of at least USD 1 trillion.
Trillion-dollar scale builds up over decades. Companies that cross this threshold typically lead their industries in revenue and hold advantages smaller rivals cannot match, from entrenched customer ecosystems to optimized cost structures few competitors can replicate. The cash flow, or the net amount of cash generated by a company's operations over a given period, that comes with scale allows for substantial research and capital spending, with a longer-term view in furthering innovations.
In selecting investments, the adviser considers companies included in the BITA Trillion Dollar Cap Index, which tracks global companies worth at least $1 trillion and weights them equally, along with other companies and investment exposures it believes are relevant. The Fund is not required to invest only in companies included in the index.
